Century Farm not only offers families spacious homes in Meridian ID, but a unique new community designed to maximize neighborhood connections through walkways, pathways and parks. Individual neighborhoods may have parks, linear open space and walking trails. In addition, active play areas will include openfields and playgrounds. Century Farm will construct a farm pavilion and walking trails at the entrance of East Taconic and South Eagle. This will provide both an iconic entrance and usable open space for the residents of Century Farm. In addition, future amenities will be provided as each new phase is developed.
One of the most exciting elements of Century Farm is the proposed Hillsdale Elementary (West Ada School District), Treasure Valley YMCA and Meridian City Park. This unique community asset has been made possible by land contributions from Brighton Corporation and Martin & Dixie Hill. The West Ada School District has commenced work on Hillsdale Elementary with an anticipated open date of August 2016. In addition to the YMCA, a Meridian City Park and Meridian Library are planned as well. The YMCA is currently fundraising for these improvements. However, a timeframe to construct the YMCA, Public Park and Library is contingent upon fundraising, and is not yet set.
What Public Schools will serve Century Farm?
Century Farm is within the West Ada School District. Century Farm is excited for the new Hillsdale elementary school that is under construction, with an anticipated open in August 2016. However, until it opens and the West Ada School District modifies boundaries, the current schools for Century Farm are:
