Happy Holidays

Offices will be closed on December 23, 26, 30, and January 2nd for Christmas and New Year’s. We wish all residents a wonderful holiday season!

Come See Santa

Don’t forget… Santa will be coming to our community on Wednesday, December 7th from 5-7 pm. Come down to the barn off Eagle & Taconic and take a picture or just visit.

Bird Flu

Southwest Idaho has had reports of waterfowl deaths resulting from avian cholera and avian influenza. These illnesses are often referred to as the bird flu and often affect our migratory birds like geese and ducks, but can also affect domestic birds and poultry. While avian cholera is not considered a human health risk, avian influenza does require some safety precautions. Because of this Idaho Fish and Game requested that if you see multiple dead birds, to report them to the Nampa Regional Office at 208-465-8465. Depending on the number of birds and access to PPE Fish and Game may ask the caller to dispose of the carcass. To be safe, stay away from migratory birds when possible, and especially when they are sick or acting different.

Vehicles and Equipment (Trailers)

Please remember that Vehicles and Equipment (Trailers) shall be kept at all times in an enclosed structure, and at no time shall any such Vehicles or Equipment be parked or stored on a Lot in public view or on a public or private right of way within the Property except: (1) when in actual use; and/or (2) for a temporary period of no more than twenty-four (24) consecutive hours in connection with actual use. Please make sure your trailers, ATVs, boats, motor homes, and all the alike are not left in view.

December Billing

Dues will be mailed this month, and are due in January. Please be watching for them in the mail.

Dogs Barking

There’s been reports of excessive dog barking in the community lately. Please be aware of your pet’s barking. Many of us are extra busy this time of year, but don’t leave your pets out in the cold to bark, please.

Architectural Control Committee

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) has an opening, and we’re taking volunteers. This 3-person committee reviews all requests made by residents to improve their homes. This includes sheds, patios and covers, and more. If you’re interested in joining this committee, please email hoa@brightoncorp.com your name, address, and a brief reason why you want to join and any experience you may have.

Fine Schedule

The CC&Rs allow for the committee to create a fine schedule to help with continuing violations. While we don’t ever want to have to resort to fines, it is another tool for the community to help maintain the rules. You may review the DRAFT prior to adoption and provide feedback until December 31, 2022.
